Special Plenary Session Students in archaeology graduate programs across Canada are invited to participate in this special plenary session, Current and Future Directions: Student Perspectives on Canadian Archaeology

PARTICIPATE IN THE CONFERENCE

For Presenters and Session Organizers All you need to know about contributing posters, papers, PowerPoint, etc.
Propose a Paper  Feb 15, 2003: Deadline for abstracts and registration
Organize a Session Feb 15, 2003: Deadline for session proposals (abstract plus list of presenters) and registration
Volunteer Students: Volunteer half a day, and receive free registration!

** PLEASE NOTE: ALL PRESENTERS AND SESSION ORGANIZERS MUST REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE BY FEB 15, 2003.**

 


ATTEND THE CONFERENCE     

Registration 

Presenters and session organizers must register before Feb 15, 2003.

Non-presenters:  early registration rates apply only until Feb 15, 2003.

Early registration rates: Regular $75, Student $45.

Registration includes: registration package, name tag, barbeque lunch on Saturday May 10, 2003.

 

To register: 

  • Print out and complete a Conference Registration Form

City of Hamilton, Ont.  Hamilton is a busy, diverse city on the southwestern shore of Lake Ontario. 
Travel Hamilton is easily accessible by air, car, and coach, and has a good city bus system with stops at McMaster University. 
Accommodation

Dormitory accommodation will be available at McMaster University, and there are many reasonably-priced hotels in Hamilton.

Local cultural activities in Hamilton and area, dining out, etc.

Original Call for Papers (n.b. deadline for new sessions has now passed)

The conference theme is Current and Future Directions in Canadian Archaeology. You are invited to submit titles for symposia and papers. Our ambition is to develop as many thematic sessions as possible. While we encourage you to consider the conference theme in your submission, alternate proposals are also welcome. We especially encourage those interested in organizing symposia to contact the program coordinators at caa2003@mcmaster.ca as soon as possible.
