Regular Hours of Operation:

• The RDC is open Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Extended Hours of Operation:

• Tuesday 5:30pm-8:30pm, Thursday 5:30pm-8:30pm

Out of Town Researchers:

Call a day or two in advance of your visit to book a workstation and for notice of any service changes.

Overseas Researchers:

Call 4 to 6 weeks in advance of your visit to ensure the centre will be open and to discuss your schedule and planned use of the centre.

Regular Hours:

The RDC is normally open Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, and able to provide full service during those hours. The centre is closed on statutory holidays.

It is possible that unforeseen circumstances (such as sickness) will result in the RDC being closed without the opportunity to give advance notice. Every attempt will be made to ensure that the voice message (ext. 27967) provides current information, and it is advisable to check it to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.

Extended Hours:

During extended hours, a Statistics Canada Extended Hours employee will be available. Researchers will be able to conduct data analysis as usual, however researchers are advised to read the extended hours document for more information.
